Henry Rivera is a therapist and rehabilitative specialist at Greenwich Sports Medicine. He has been working professionally within the fitness industry for over
ten years as a personal trainer, fitness coach, and pain management therapist.
The unique skill set, level of education, and hands-on experience Henry brings to the clinic have allowed him to work with a diverse group of clients, from professional and amateur athletes to celebrities and corporate executives.
Henry has received certifications from the Corrective / High Performance Exercise Kinesiology (CHEK) Institute in San Diego, and has studied with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Fellow of Applied Functional Science with the Gray Institute, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Integrated Flexibility Specialist (IFS), Exercise Coach, and Nutritional Lifestyle Coach. Henry continues to pursue ongoing education in Active Release Technique (ART), in which he is fully certified, and has worked within many of the top health clubs, gyms, and sports training facilities in both New York and Miami.
Whether he is designing a personalized, high-performance strength and conditioning program, or implementing an injury prevention stretching and exercise routine, Henry has developed a reputation for achieving great results and helping his clients reach their fitness goals. His programs have been credited with restoring optimum functional capacity to dozens of individuals who were limited in their activities by pain and discomfort.
